The UK Spa Association (UKSA) is the trade body for the UK’s spa industry, which might not sound that exciting, but it plays an integral role in ensuring that spa businesses in the country operate to the highest standards.
Its mission is to raise awareness of the industry with the government, as well as within all stages of education to help encourage more practitioners into the sector. In addition, the UKSA works to connect and empower both individuals working in the sector and businesses.
The UKSA says: “Our uncompromising focus is a world that truly embraces all the benefits of spa including the positive physical and emotional benefits of visiting a spa or salon on a regular basis.”
This aligns perfectly with our ethos at WARM Oasis that healing isn’t only a physical process, it also encompasses the emotional, mental and spiritual.
Since opening, we have worked hard to create an inclusive, safe space where everyone can access the benefit of spa treatments and aesthetic procedures. In particular, we wanted to create a space where men felt comfortable, as many say that they feel embarrassed or uneasy visiting traditional aesthetics clinics.
We focus on holistic wellness, which means we treat each person who walks through our doors as a whole individual, not just someone who is seeking a specific treatment or outcome.
This is why WARM Oasis is proud to be not only a UK Spa Association supplier, but also involved in spa wellness education, doctor-led wellness innovation and integrative aesthetics.
Why is spa wellness education and innovation important?
As part of the UKSA community, we share their mission to elevate holistic wellness standards across the UK. We know that doing so isn’t down to one single discipline, which is why we collaborate with other specialists, practitioners and businesses.
WARM Oasis is led by a UK-registered GP with expertise in aesthetic medicine, wellness coaching and lifestyle health. This makes us an ideal partner for hotels and spas, wellness venues and brands, as well as aesthetic clinics and medispas.
Together, we can help elevate the standard of care each individual receives at every stage of their wellness journey and in doing so.
We also offer services as wellness retreat consultants, helping other spa and wellness businesses to deliver retreats that clients remember long after they have left and returned to their regular lives.
Innovation is also important to our mission because we are learning more about human physiology and how wellness experiences benefit us all the time. We lead with evidence-based treatments and whole-person approach to care, and we are always keeping an eye on new developments within the industry.
This is where our UKSA membership supports us too – by helping us to discover innovations in the wellness space and learn how to apply them in such a way that they support our clients, or those of our corporate partners.
We know that people are looking for wellness services that treat them as the individuals that they are. We are committed to delivering holistic care that encourages each person to consider how wellness and aesthetic treatments can benefit multiple areas of their lives.
